Like many others I have been hearing the positive feedback on Uber. Whether its from drivers or passengers, all I hear is good stories. Who doesn’t need an inexpensive reliable ride service? Want to make money in your spare time? Sign me up, right?! Much of the feedback I get is working valet at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. We regularly have customers getting dropped off by Uber drivers for less than they would have paid a taxi. However the Uber drivers are always coming from somewhere else, leaving no Uber service on the coast when they leave. So the idea has sparked to not only drive for Uber but service the Ritz Carlton and surrounding areas.
This isn’t something I am jumping into; I’ve been strongly considering driving for Uber for sometime now. I’ve started to do my research and come across a few good blogs as well as figuring my way into the Uber website.. There is a lot to think about before you sign up and many questions that may need to be answered to make sure it will be worth the effort. I had already known that my vehicle was too old to meet Uber requirements, so researching a vehicle was also a part of the process. In fact, your vehicle seems to be a very important factor in how much you can make in your quest for repeat satisfied customers. While having a gas saving economy car may provide a nice entry level into the ride share profession, there is more money (income) in the larger vehicles and luxury services. Therefore if you can acquire a reasonable priced vehicle that fits these
